This notice describes the public website, the guest scorecard and the separate account scorecard. Public signup and commercial subscriptions are closed.
Updated 1 October 2026. Applies to the scorecard or planned service only. Full service policies require review before those services open.
Local scorecard records
Scores, round history and change records are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. The guest scorecard does not upload those records or synchronize them to another device. JSON and CSV exports are created on your device.
Account scorecard
The app host accepts email and password sign-in for existing accounts. Rounds save locally first; upload is explicit. Uploaded records and subsequent accepted changes are stored in Aperture’s self-hosted Appwrite project, with account authorization. Signout retains local records and queued changes for that account. Keep an export; account-wide self-service deletion is not available in the account scorecard.
Website requests
Loading the website sends ordinary web requests through Cloudflare and the hosting service. Request metadata can include an IP address, requested path, browser information and time. The website does not request camera, microphone, health or location access.
Optional website analytics
If you choose to allow analytics in Privacy choices, the website loads Google Analytics to count page visits and a short list of labelled calls to action. Google receives the page path and title, browser and device details, and network request metadata such as your IP address. Scorecard entries, scores, notes and exports are not sent to Google Analytics. If you decline, the tag is not loaded. You can change this choice from Privacy choices in the site footer. The scorecard uses a service worker and local caches so its application files can open offline. Deleting browser site data removes locally held records and caches. Export anything you want to keep first.
Choices and future features
The guest scorecard needs no account. The separate account scorecard requires an existing account and deliberate upload. Neither scorecard enables payments, video upload or model training. Account-wide deletion, broader retention controls and public registration remain release work.
